Senior AI Full-Stack Engineer
Job Title: Senior AI Full-Stack Engineer
Job Context:
CliqPack is a technology company headquartered in Australia, with R&D and business operations based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We build AI-powered technology products and services across real estate and property management, technology services, retail, and education — helping businesses in these sectors operate smarter through AI, automation, and digital transformation. We combine Australian market expertise with strong offshore delivery capability to move fast, build well, and stay lean.
Data-Driven. AI-Powered. People-Led.
We are looking for a Senior AI Full-Stack Engineer to join a strategic new product initiative — an agentic AI application for property management operations. This is a hands-on, end-to-end engineering role at the core of the build. You will be responsible for architecting and building the AI agent orchestration layer, designing and integrating the workflow engine, connecting to third-party property management platforms via API, and ensuring every action is auditable, reliable, and compliant. There is no separate PM or dedicated tester on this build — you bring both the technical depth and the professional discipline to own quality from architecture through to production.
This is a genuinely senior role. You will shape how we build, not just follow instructions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the AI agent orchestration layer using a frontier LLM API (Claude or GPT-class)
- Build and maintain the workflow engine, including per-agency configuration and rule management
- Develop and maintain RESTful backend APIs, data models, and integration services
- Own the PropertyMe API integration end-to-end (OAuth 2.0, webhooks, sandbox testing) with subsequent integrations to PropertyTree and Console
- Implement full audit logging for every agentic action — trigger, decision, execution, outcome
- Write tests, perform code reviews, and take accountability for production quality — no external QA to fall back on
- Use AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code) as part of your engineering workflow — we build fast and rigorously, not slowly by hand
- Collaborate directly with the CTO, the Flutter developer, and the product stakeholders
- Document architecture decisions, API contracts, and integration patterns from day one.
What You’ll Build
- An agentic AI layer that monitors deadlines and triggers across property management workflows, drafts recommended actions, and executes them once a human confirms
- A configurable workflow engine with per-agency customisation — e.g. varying notice periods, escalation rules, and SOP thresholds
- Integrations with Australian property management platforms (starting with PropertyMe via REST/OAuth API)
- A robust audit logging system that captures every trigger, human decision, and execution — the backbone of the product’s compliance posture
- Backend APIs consumed by a Flutter mobile frontend (voice + chat interface)
- Cloud infrastructure setup and management, working alongside a fractional DevOps resource closer to go-live
Educational Qualifications:
Experience Requirements:
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent) — prompt engineering, tool use, agentic patterns, multi-step reasoning
- Strong backend development in Python (FastAPI / Django) and/or Node.js (Express / Fastify)
- REST API design, development, and consumption — including OAuth 2.0 authentication flows and webhook handling
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) — schema design, query optimisation
- Git-based version control, code review, and branch management
- Experience building workflow automation or event-driven systems
- Cloud deployment experience — AWS, GCP, or Azure (containerised workloads, managed services)
- Secure API design and disciplined handling of personally identifiable data (tenant, owner, and financial records)
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
Additional Requirement:
- Experience building agentic AI systems — multi-step task execution, tool-calling patterns, human-in-the-loop confirmation flows
- Async task queue experience — Redis, Celery (Python) or BullMQ (Node.js) for background workflow execution
- Vector database or embedding experience — pgvector, Pinecone, Chroma or equivalent (useful for semantic search and workflow memory)
- Mobile backend experience — designing APIs for consumption by Flutter apps
- Familiarity with Australian property management platforms (PropertyMe, PropertyTree, Console / Reapit PM)
- Docker / containerisation and CI/CD pipeline experience
- Real estate or property management domain knowledge
- Experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as a core part of development workflow
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, SurferSEO, or similar tools is an advantage.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
- Festival Bonuses: 2 per year
- Weekly Holidays: Friday & Saturday
- Direct collaboration with CliqPack’s CTO and Australian product stakeholders.
