As part of our rapid expansion into the Australian market, we are building a world-class outbound sales engine. We are hiring a proactive, smart, and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) who will work closely with the CEO (Australia) and collaborate with an external SDR agency in Melbourne/Sydney to establish, optimize, and scale outbound sales processes.

This role will also contribute to building and leading a future Dhaka-based outbound sales team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting (Australia Market)

  • Identify and generate high-quality outbound leads across:
    • Real Estate Agencies & Property Developers
    • Education Providers (Schools, Colleges, Training Institutes)
    • F&B Chains, Hospitality Groups & Retail Businesses
    • Mid-Market & Enterprise Technology Buyers
    • Venture-Backed & High-Growth Startups

  • Use modern AI-powered tools for intelligent prospecting:
    • ChatGPT
    • Apollo, Lemlist, Instantly, Snov
    • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
    • CRM-based outbound systems

  • Build segmented lead lists by industry, region, and product vertical.

2. Multi-channel Outbound Outreach

Execute structured outreach cadences across:

  • Cold email sequences
  • LinkedIn messaging & connection flow
  • VoIP-based cold/warm calling
  • WhatsApp Business / SMS (where compliant)
  • CRM-driven follow-up tasks
  • Landing page & inbound lead follow-up

Deliver persuasive, professional, and Australia-standard communication to engage decision-makers.

3. Lead Qualification & Meeting Scheduling

  • Conduct initial discovery through.
    • Short calls
    • LinkedIn conversations
    • Email qualification
  • Assess needs, fit, and readiness of prospects using ICP criteria.
  • Schedule discovery calls, demos, and strategy sessions..
  • Prepare briefing notes on each booked meeting:
    • Prospect profile
    • Pain points
    • Opportunity insights
    • Outreach notes

Ensure smooth handover and pipeline progression.

4. Market Research & Strategic Insights

  • Research Australia’s SaaS, PropTech, EdTech, POS/ERP, and digital services landscape.
  • Identify new sectors, niches, or ICPs for outbound expansion.
  • Analyze competitor products, messaging, and pricing.
  • Suggest improvements to outreach scripts, value propositions, and campaign targeting.

5. Sales Operations, Collaboration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of:
    • Activities
    • Touchpoints
    • Lead statuses
    • Meeting notes
  • Track and report KPIs every week:
    • Emails sent
    • Reply rate
    • Meetings booked
    • Lead quality & ICP match

  • Collaborate closely with:
    • CEO (Australia)
    • SDR Agency (Melbourne/Sydney)
    • CliqPixel (Marketing Team)
    • Product Teams (CliqProperty, EduInsight, CliqServe)
    • Delivery Teams

This collaboration is essential for building a scalable outbound sales engine that Dhaka will manage long-term.

Performance KPIs

The BDR will be measured on:

Activity KPIs

  • 300–500 outbound emails per week
  • 25–40 LinkedIn outbound touches per day
  • 40–60 calls per week (as required)

Pipeline KPIs

  • 5–10 qualified meetings booked per month (combined with external SDR agency)
  • 30–50% reply rate improvement through testing
  • 100% CRM hygiene

Outcome KPIs

  • Growing a qualified pipeline across CliqPack & CliqPixel
  • Consistent monthly meeting flow
  • Contribution to outbound strategy development

Career Growth Path

This role is a foundational position with the potential to grow into:

  1. Senior BDR
  2. Account Executive (AE) – Australia Market
  3. BDR Team Lead (Dhaka)
  4. Sales Manager – Dhaka Outbound Division

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1.5–3 years in BDR/SDR, outbound prospecting, sales, or international lead generation.
  • Experience working with clients in Australia, UK, or US is a strong plus.
  • Exposure to SaaS, PropTech, ERP/POS, or EdTech markets is highly preferred.

Additional Requirement:

  • Excellent English (written and spoken)
  • Confident in communicating with mid-tier and enterprise-level decision-makers
  • Strong understanding of SaaS and business workflows
  • Proficiency with:
    • Outreach tools (Apollo, Lemlist, Instantly)
    • CRM systems
    • Google Workspace
    • AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)

  • Highly organized, target-driven, and growth-minded
