Job Title: Full Stack ITSM and SolarWinds Engineer

Job Context:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack ITSM (Information Technology System Management) and SolarWinds Engineer to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of ITSM processes and tools, with a specific focus on the SolarWinds suite. This role requires a strong understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, as well as experience in telecom network monitoring, management, and security.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain ITSM Solutions:
    • Design, develop, and maintain ITSM processes and tools.
    • Customize ITSM platforms to meet business needs and improve service delivery.
  • SolarWinds Implementation and Management:
    • Install, configure, and manage SolarWinds products.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot network and system performance using SolarWinds.
    • Develop custom scripts and integrations with SolarWinds for enhanced functionality.
  • System and Network Management:
    • Manage and monitor telecommunications infrastructure and systems.
    • Implement and maintain network monitoring, alerting, and reporting solutions.
    • Ensure high availability and performance of telecom systems and services.
  • Full Stack Development:
    • Develop and maintain frontend and backend components of ITSM solutions.
    • Ensure seamless integration between various systems and applications.
  • Security Management:
    • Implement security best practices for ITSM and network monitoring tools.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
    • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
    • Respond to and mitigate security incidents related to ITSM and network monitoring systems.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
    • Provide technical support and training to internal teams on ITSM and SolarWinds tools.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ITSM and network monitoring tools.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in ITSM development and management.
    • 2+ years of experience working with the SolarWinds suite (NPM, SAM, NTA, etc.).
    • Experience in the telecommunications & Bank industry is highly desirable.

Additional Requirement:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in full stack development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, etc.).
    • Strong knowledge of ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, etc.).
    • Expertise in SolarWinds products and their configuration.
    • Understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
    • Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Security Skills:
    • Experience with security frameworks and best practices (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
    • Knowledge of security tools and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).
    • Ability to conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability management.
    • Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and metrics.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications (preferred):
    • ITIL Foundation Certification.
    • SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP).
    • Relevant network certifications (CCNA, JNCIA, etc.).
    • Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
