Job Context:

CliqPack Limited, a multinational IT company known for delivering world-class software solutions and digital services, is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunication Network & Security Engineer to join our team in a mission-critical technical leadership role. This position is central to our IT operations and combines expertise in telecom networking, cybersecurity architecture, IT Service Management (ITSM), automation, and real-time monitoring.

You will play a hybrid role—owning the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure telecom and IT infrastructure while acting as a technical liaison between local client teams and international infrastructure partners. The ideal candidate will drive performance monitoring, automation, and cybersecurity operations for both internal systems and client projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Network & Infrastructure Monitoring and Management

  • Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable telecom and IT network infrastructure (IP/MPLS, VoIP, LTE/5G, VPNs).
  • Own end-to-end monitoring, performance tuning, and fault resolution using tools like SolarWinds HCO, Zabbix, Grafana, or Nagios.
  • Define performance baselines, monitor key metrics, and proactively resolve anomalies and network/system degradation to maintain SLAs.
  • Assist in the design and management of hybrid or cloud-native infrastructure environments on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

ITSM, Automation & AI Integration

  • Implement and manage IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including incident, change, problem, and asset management aligned with ITIL best practices.
  • Administer and optimize SolarWinds Service Desk for tracking, automation, SLA enforcement, and service reporting.
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities into ITSM workflows for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent routing.
  • Automate operational processes through scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.).

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain network and IT security infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, WAF, and SIEM platforms.
  • Conduct routine risk assessments, penetration tests, and incident response drills.
  • Monitor and address real-time security alerts, intrusions, and unauthorized activities, ensuring rapid resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, OWASP) and legal regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).

Client Project Implementation & Support

  • Act as a technical lead on client infrastructure and IT security projects—from requirements analysis to deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Deliver seamless integration of monitoring, security, and ITSM solutions into client environments.
  • Collaborate directly with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand project goals, resolve issues, and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and resolution of escalated incidents and change requests for client systems.

Team Collaboration & Coordination

  • Serve as a liaison between local operations and international infrastructure partners, ensuring technical alignment, issue resolution, and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead or contribute to technical documentation, training, and SOP development for internal and client-facing teams.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, WAFs, and secure configurations.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, ITSM, and security operations.
  • Hands-on experience with SolarWinds Service Desk or similar ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage real-time system/network monitoring and resolution, including incident triage, root cause analysis, and escalation.
  • Experience delivering client project implementation and technical support services, preferably in telecom, banking, or large enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and integration of AI-based ITSM workflows.
  • Deep understanding of telecom protocols and systems: VoIP, LTE, 5G, MPLS.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds HCO, Zabbix, Grafana, or Nagios.
  • Experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, WAFs, and secure configurations.
  • Cloud infrastructure experience along with certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a strong plus.

Additional Requirement:

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA.
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL, CCNP, CISSP, CEH, OSCP.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CCNA/CCNP Security, or ITIL are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with major telecom or banking environments in Bangladesh is a strong plus
